What To Expect
Sunday Mornings
Getting Here
We gather every Sunday at 10:15 am in the auditorium at Liberty High School:
925 Jewetta Ave, Bakersfield, CA 93312
Parking is available in both the north and east lots near the auditorium entrance. Greeters will be there to welcome you, hand you a bulletin, and provide a welcome packet with more information about our church.
Our Service
Our worship is centered on God’s Word, led by our pastors, and overseen by our elders. Each Sunday includes elements of prayer, Scripture reading, singing, confession of sin, preaching, offering, and the sacraments. We believe Sunday worship is a gift from the Lord in which he speaks to us and we respond to him.
Preaching is central to our service. Because we are committed to “preaching the whole counsel of God” (Acts 20:27), we typically work through books of the Bible verse by verse, always in accord with the doctrine we confess. Every element of the service is meant to point us to the grace we know in Christ and equip us to walk in gratitude throughout the week.
For Kids
We offer childcare for infants and toddlers during the service, as well as Sunday School for preschool through Kindergarten, using Great Commission Publications curriculum. Check-in for childcare and Sunday School takes place in the courtyard before the service. Children are also welcome to remain in the service with their families. If you need to step out with a little one, you can access our virtual cry room by scanning a QR code in the courtyard to listen to the sermon live.

Sunday Evenings
We meet weekly on Sunday evenings at 5:00pm at Rosedale Bible Church:
16000 Rosedale Hwy, Bakersfield, CA 93314
Getting Here
Our Sunday evening service is held at Rosedale Bible Church. You can park in the parking lot outside the building. Make sure to grab a prayer and song sheet so you can follow along with our order of service.
Our Service
Our evening service has a shorter time of singing and preaching than our morning service. It also includes a time of creeds and confessions. After the benediction, we have a short corporate prayer meeting where we pray through a specific set of needs for our church, our community, and our missionaries. There is no childcare for this service, but the service is piped into the lobby and cry room, so that you can still hear the preaching if you and your child need to step out.
