Why we give
Scripture teaches that all we have belongs to God, and that giving is an act of worship and gratitude. In response to His grace, we joyfully return a portion of what He has entrusted to us for the work of His Church and the spread of the gospel. The Bible calls believers to give cheerfully and generously—as a reflection of thankful hearts and trust in God’s provision.
“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)
