We believe that parents are primarily responsible for discipling their teenagers. With this in mind, the youth ministry exists to support that parental responsibility. We pray that God will be glorified as the students come to trust Christ, love God, grow in the knowledge of His word, and cultivate strong healthy friendships with those around them. We hope to see students grow into Godly, mature adults, who love and serve in Christ’s church for the rest of their lives. To that end, the youth ministry is centered around Christ, biblical fellowship, and the Word of God.
This group is not intended to keep students from participating in the life of the church, rather it is intended to spur them on to greater maturity and participation in the life of the church and weekly corporate worship.
Our youth group is for both Jr. High and High School students. It meets from 6:15 to 8:30 on Wednesday nights at the church offices. This weekly program consists of fellowship through singing, bible study, discussion, prayer, and age-appropriate games.
The youth group gathers for other events and activities throughout the year on a quarterly or annual basis. Please reach out to Mikey Warren for more information regarding the youth ministry and its programs.
