At Sovereign Grace Church our mission is “to bring about the obedience of faith in all nations for the sake of His name.” Romans 1:5
We believe it is the church’s responsibility to train and send missionaries to plant churches among unengaged and unreached people groups. (Matthew 28:18-20; Romans 15:20; 2 Timothy 2:2). We also believe our church should always be praying for, encouraging, and equipping church leaders in under-resourced, under-equipped and persecuted churches (Matthew 9:38; James 2:15,16). We believe our church should be involved in local church planting, evangelism (Romans 10:5-21) and mercy ministries (Luke 12:33, 14:13; James 1:27).
Supported Missionaries
Sovereign Grace has supported missionaries in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and Tijuana. We also have many more being trained and raising support to plant churches all around the world. We do not publish information on our current missionaries to protect their privacy but if you would like to financially support and pray for our missionaries please contact Joel Heppner or Jeff Affonso for more information.
Training Missionaries
Sovereign Grace has had the privilege of starting two missionary training organizations:
Radius International
Radius International was started in 2009 with the goal of training missionaries to plant churches among unreached people groups in a pioneer context. They equip cross-cultural workers with the tools needed to be effective and avoid unnecessary attrition before the task is complete.
Radius Theological Institute
